Players who have completed the form will receive email updates when Spirit FC holds open trials, which are typically in October. Players may also be invited to training opportunities, pending availabilities in our squads. As we receive a high volume of EOIs, please do not contact the office via phone to request a trial, as we will contact players directly.
If you are a Senior player seeking a trial, please also send your playing resume to admin@spiritfootballclub.com . Please include a highlight reel, and two recent, full 90 minute match videos. We will pass this information onto our 1st Grade coaches, who will review and contact if interested. Senior trials are by invitation only.
At Spirit FC, we pride ourselves on our commitment to local players in our JDL and Youth League teams. Our pathway encompasses local clubs in the North West Sydney Football association, the NWSF Academy, Junior Development League, plus Mixed and Women’s Youth League teams, all the way up to our Senior Men’s and Women’s squads that compete in Football NSW competitions.
To play for a Spirit FC JDL team (Mixed U9 – U12 or Girls U10 – U13), players must reside within the boundaries of one of the following four associations:
- North West Sydney Football
- Northern Suburbs Football Association
- Manly Warringah Football Association
- Central Coast Football
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their children meet these requirements.
JDL trials take place in October each year, during an approved trial period set by Football NSW. Trial dates will be communicated to relevant players who have completed the EOI, once confirmed.
Please understand that we receive a large number of enquiries requesting to trial. For context, we typically receive over 2000 EOIs each season. We will be in contact as opportunities arise.
