We pride ourselves on the development and opportunities provided to coaches at Spirit FC. We have a long history of esteemed coaches who have contributed to the culture and success of the club, from Graham Arnold when we were formerly known as Northern Spirit, through to our current First Grade coaches David Perkovic and Tony Candy.
Coaches interested in joining NWS Spirit FC should complete the EOI form.
Similar to our player development systems, the NWSF DNA underpins our coach development, providing a framework to guide their ability to facilitate environments that foster the growth of great people, and great players.
This extensive framework encapsulates coach mentoring, continued professional development, and regular work opportunities across not only Spirit FC, but also our Academy, holiday clinics and much more.
Coaches also flourish within our collaborative and supportive culture, where each person is valued as part of our wider staff. Our commitment to personal development provides coaches with significant opportunities for professional development and career progression, with many of our current leadership team and Heads of Program advancing to these positions having started as coaches.
