Spirit FC appoint Tony Candy as Womens First Grade Head Coach

NWS Spirit FC is proud to announce the signing of Tony Candy as Spirit FC Women’s First Grade Head Coach.

The former Marconi First Grade Men’s coach and Blacktown City coach, who has called Spirit FC his home for the last 6 years in senior coaching roles, was the oustanding canditate to take our Women’s senior program to another level in 2024.

“I can’t wait to work with these outstanding group of players across our Senior program and help them achieve their goals for both 2024 and beyond,” Tony Candy said.

Tim Thorne, Spirit FC Head of Football, stated “adding to the outstanding work by Tiana Gauci, Spirit FC plan to build on the top 3 finish in this years competition, whilst also developing our players in a way that gives them the best chance to become the best A League, national team and overseas players in the future.”

“Tony Candy is one of the very few coaches who can achieve these aims”.
