Please note the following logistics…

  • Trials WILL proceed if it is raining. Trials will only be cancelled if there is lightning close by.
  • Arrive 15 minutes before the trial with a ball, water bottle and sunscreen. Players wear their football kit, shin pads and football boots.
  • Players do not have to check in for trials.
  • Trials generally last for 90 minutes.
  • Please note there may be a follow up session on the Friday evening (October 17), by invitation only, pending the outcome of the Sunday trial. This will be confirmed on the Sunday.
  • Unsuccessful trialists will NOT be provided individual feedback, due to the volume of players trialing.

Please also note…

  • All players MUST trial in their correct age group.
  • All girls must trial in the Girls trials, and will be considered for the Mixed JDL program, through this process.
  • To attend trials, you must live within our boundaries, or have had a 2025 winter season registration with a NWSF club. If your child attends trials, is selected but does not meet this criteria, the offer will be withdrawn.
  • Fees for the 2025 season for the JDL program are $1595.
  • JDL squads train three times a week, and play on weekends.
  • Training days and times, and matchdays, for 2026 are to be confirmed.
  • Positions may also be offered at trials for pathway players. Pathway players play for a local NWSF club while training twice a week with the JDL squad. You can find out more information about the pathway player program by clicking here.

If you have a question, please wait until trials, as you will have an opportunity to ask questions then.

If you have registered and then are NOT attending trials, you do not need to contact the office.
